		<description>I am having the same issue with youtube custom player! I emailed their support and got the response: 

"Please note that even though the custom player is not getting validated it's still function. The validation error is actually quite common for most top sites and blogs on the net. Please note that "validation" is just to make sure that all webpages conform to certain standards so that they look the same across all browsers. You will have to assess the code on your website and fix it where necessary."

Your code is a great suggestion, and while my code now validates the player does not show up on my page.</description>
