Google Presentations

Google adds presentation tools to Google Docs. A great feature is that users can connect through Google Talk and can chat about the presentation as they’re watching. Could be a great tool for sharing learning.

That whole being able to chat thing is pretty cool, Laura. I wonder if/when voice will get added. . .

Hi Michele, thanks for the comment. I sat in on an educators trial session the other day with this - it was interesting to say the least! I really think that we are seeing a big evolvement in the possibilities in being able to deliver learning and sharing in a different context. Google docs isn’t the only option out there, but if it can help raise interest especially in groups and areas where they haven’t ventured into this before, all the better!
